Another significant year of science….
Shaastrotsav-Festival of Science,organized by NSS College of Engineering Alumni (Kuwait Chapter) ,the fourth edition of Shaastrotsav was held on Friday, the 27-April-2012 at Salmiya Indian Indian School (SIMS).

The last Shaastrotsav 3,was held on 6th May, 2011 in the state of the art campus of GUST, Mishref-Kuwait.
in association with Gulf University for Science & Technology (GUST). We have come a long way since the first Shaastrotsav held in 2009. Now with nearly 3000 students, teachers and professionals participating or visiting, Shaastrotsav experienced tremendous growth, both in participation and quality.

To promote interest in science and technology among students Shaastrotsav proudly announce Inter-School CapQ Science & Technology Quiz. CapQ Science & Technology Quiz will be held on Friday, 27th April, 2012 as a part of Shaastrotsav-Festival of Science.

Schools in Kuwait spared no efforts in identifying their best scientific talents for participating in the Science & Technology Project contest, which is considered as the most prestigious science & technology contest in Kuwait.  This year too we offer Science & Technology Project contest for schools in three categories, namely: Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior. Every year engineering college alumni associations in Kuwait, which are part of Kuwait Engineers Forum (KEF), compete to exhibit their technological and scientific skills in Shaastrotsav. This is considered as the best opportunity for engineers to showcase their brilliant ideas and sharpen their science and technology knowledge. Shaastrotsav, offer a Science & Technology Project contest for constituent engineering college alumni associations of KEF. Trophies, gifts and certificates will be awarded to individuals / team members [...]

A science & Technology project & exhibition contest for individuals or teams consisting of a maximum of 3 members, who are not in any school team participating in the science exhibition contest for schools.

Synopsis of the project shall be submitted to the organizers on or before 7th April, 2012. Only those projects approved by Shaastrotsav organizing team after evaluating synopsis will be allowed to participate in the exhibition and contest.
